Meeting Report: Joint Workshop with IIJPIPR of Universitas Airlangga

The Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE) held a joint workshop with Institute of Innovation, Journal Development, Press, and Intellectual Property Rights (IIJPIPR) of Universitas Airlangga of Indonesia at the Seoul branch office of Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) on October 25th, 2023. Eight persons, including three from Korea and five from Indonesia, attended the workshop. They were all interested in journal publishing.
The activities of CASE were introduced by the Secretary-General of CASE, Dr. Tae-Sul Seo, and the official journal, Science Editing, was introduced by the Chair of the Publication Ethics Committee, Professor Jaegyun Park. Some services related to journal publishing in Korea were described by the President of Docuhut Co. Ltd. Meanwhile, the Indonesian team explained the activities of the IIJPIPR of Universitas Airlangga. The attendees discussed how to resolve the problems the Indonesian team is facing. The Indonesian team wanted to collaborate with CASE to improve the quality of journal publishing.
