Activities of the Vietnam Association for Science Editing (VASE) in 2023
- Vietnam Association for Science Editing (VASE) was established in April 2016 by Decision No. 602 / QD-BNV.
- The first congress was orgnised in June 18, 2016, in Hanoi.
- July 2016, VASE officially joined the Asian Association of Scientific Editors (CASE), Prof. Dr. Sc. Banh Tien Long – Chairman of VASE Association was elected as Chairman of CASE for the term (2016 ÷ 2018).
- Since March 2017 VASE joined the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), Prof. Dr. Sc. Banh Tien Long – President, Dr. Phan Van Hieu – Chief of Office and General Secretary of VASE Association.
- Completed the VASE structure, established specialized departments, established a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Collaborate with different foreign editorial associations such as Asian Association of Scientific Editors (CASE), Association of Automation, Precision Mechanics KSPE (Korea), Indonesia, Japan, Philippines.
- Organise and co-organise many international scientific conferences.

The Second VASE Congress
287 participants and delegates, representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and HUST.
- The 3rd International Conference on Material, Machines, and Methods for Sustainable Development (MMMS2022) at Can Tho province, November 2022.
- Hosted by VASE in collaboration with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Nam Can Tho University (NTU), Kyungpook National University (KNU-Korea), Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT-Japan), Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (VFMEA) and Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE)
