The MMMS2024 conference was co-organized by Phenikaa University, the Vietnam Association for Scientific and Technological Editing (VASE), the Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (VFMEA), the Asian Council of Scientific Editors (CASE), and leading universities in science and technology from both within Vietnam and internationally, including Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Kyungpook National University (KNU-South Korea), Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT-Japan), and Phenikaa University.
Distinguished attendees included Dr. Phan Xuan Dung, President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party; Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City; Professor Dr. Banh Tien Long, President of VASE; and Associate Professor Dr. Ho Xuan Nang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phenikaa Group and Chairman of the University Council at Phenikaa University, who also chaired the conference. Nearly 300 delegates, including scientists, managers, industry professionals, academics, and researchers in science and technology from Vietnam and abroad, participated in the event.
In his speech, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc highly praised MMMS 2024 for creating a scientific space where researchers, scientists, and experts from institutes, universities, and enterprises could meet, exchange ideas, and showcase the latest achievements in mechanics, mechatronics, and related fields. He remarked, “The topics discussed at this conference, from advanced materials to innovative machinery and sustainable development methods, will help drive innovation and inspire new breakthroughs, contributing to long-term sustainable development both nationally and globally.”
Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, commending the significance of MMMS 2024
At MMMS 2024, domestic and international experts, scientists, and policymakers exchanged new research on mechanical engineering, machinery manufacturing, smart devices, material science and technology, aiming to share the latest theoretical and experimental research results on crucial aspects of sustainable development, contributing to the global economic development.
To recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals in the process of establishment and development of the VASE Association, the Association decided to award Certificate of Merit for Prof. Kim Hyusung (Council of Asian Science Editors, Korea) and Prof. Kozo Izhizaki – Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan).
To expand connections and develop cooperation in training and scientific research, community service, especially through increasing high-quality scientific publication, the VASE Association made a Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Association for Science Editing and Partners. Within the framework of this Conference, the Association was pleased to hold a signing ceremony with Group of 4 universities: Phenikaa University, Saigon International University, Petrovietnam University, The School of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
