The Korean Council of Science Editors (KCSE, President: Hyungsun Kim) held a meeting with President of Elsevier, Youngsuk Chi, at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. A total of eight people attended the meeting: Hyungsun Kim (President of KCSE), Sun Huh (Vice President of KCSE), Soo Kim (Director of Planning and Management Committee), Youngsuk Chi (President of Elsevier), and Hyun Joo Jang (Team Leader of Elsevier Korea).

The KCSE shared the outcomes of the 2018 projects and CASE held in Indonesia. They primarily discussed issues regarding data ethics related to research and academic journal production and the training of experts for the production of academic journals.
