The European Association of Science Editors (EASE) formed a new working group looking at guidelines, good practice, the culture of review and how to recognise and reward reviewers and many other topics related to peer review.

The EASE Peer Review Working Group provide a starting point for reference materials to help editors understand the process of peer review, so that they may confidently support both inexperienced and published authors with manuscript development and submission.

The 14th EASE conference will be held in Bucharest, Romania, 8th-10th June 2018. The theme for this event will be ‘Balancing Innovation and Tradition in Science Editing‘.
